Course Description
Thorough communication and assertiveness are traits required to correctly and successfully manage investigational sites. A demure approach to problem identification and corrective action will elicit a lack of action and respect on behalf of site staff, while an aggressive approach will alienate and anger site staff, placing the dynamic in jeopardy. This course will detail the art of assertive site management, delineating assertive vs. aggressive behavior, and provide guidance as to the required actions and behaviors to motivate site staff to follow instruction, complete work, and assist in resolving issues. This course will also review proactive behaviors the CRA can adopt to assure follow-through.
